Mary Ann Harrington

Valatie- Mary Ann Harrington, 88, of Valatie, formerly of Carmel, NY passed away on November 21, 2023, surrounded by her family. Born in Brewster, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ann (Gallagher) Peterson.

Mary Ann was married on April 19, 1958, to her late husband Arthur Harrington. After college, she taught in East Hartford, later moving to Mahopac to finish her career. She retired in 2001, as an Elementary Teacher in the Mahopac School District, she had also worked for many years in the real estate industry.

In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her granddaughter Lauren Harrington and her daughter in law Susan Harrington. She is survived by her sons Mark and Gerald (Tracy), as well as her daughter Maura (Eric). She is also survived by three granddaughters Erin, Megan, and Jenny.
