Matthew A. Mcnamara

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Matthew A. McNamara, age 40, our most beloved son passed suddenly on March 16, 2022.



Matthew was born in Albany to Richard and Judy McNamara . He was employed by NYS Tax & Finance for 16 years , currently as an Information Technology Specialist 4. He is survived by his parents as well as his former wife Pamela Alvarado and his beloved dog Yuna, one Aunt and several cousins. Those who knew Matt, even just a little, grew to love him. He was remarkably efficient with repairing and building computers, and ready to assist anyone asking for help.



Family and friends may call at the Castleton Funeral Home 59 Seaman Ave. Castleton on Monday March 21, from 4-7 pm . A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, 11am in Sacred Heart Church, 3 Catholic way, Castleton.
