Linda A. Thorpe

Linda A. Thorpe, 70, of Nassau, passed away at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland on Oct. 12, 2021. Born in Castleton, she was the daughter of the late William and Nellie (Van Den Doleweert) Patterson. Linda worked for 30 years at Albany Medical Center where she made many dear friends whom she considered family. She enjoyed watching and going to NASCAR races with her late husband Charles. Linda loved cats and caring for them. She is survived by many close friends who will miss her dearly. A funeral service will be held at the Castleton Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave. Castleton, NY, 12033 on Saturday morning at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Friday evening from 4-7PM. Interment in Mountainview Cemetery, Castleton. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
