Castleton-On the morning of April 27, 2021, Judith A. Ritchie (86) our loving mother entered into eternal life in Heaven. She was the daughter of the late Walter & Agnes Dillon.

Judy was born and raised in Castleton, NY. She made her living with hard work, determination and perseverance working in many food establishments in the area.

Her joy in life was her children, grandchildren, extended family and friends, and making any child she ever met smile. She was known for her big heart and generosity towards others.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at The Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home for their compassion and care of our precious mother.

Judy is survived by her sons, Brent Race and Charles (Tad) Ritchie and wife, Kimberly and predeceased by the love of her life, her daughter Jami W. Ritchie; grandchildren Cody D. Ritchie and Morgan T. Ritchie; siblings, Paul (Kathy) Dillon, Kenneth Dillon, Joy (Dillon) and the late Ralph Matrazzo, Keith (Laura) Dillon and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Ray Funeral Home in Castleton, NY. Graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Horizon View Cemetery.

Pandemic restrictions apply, masks must be worn, social distancing practiced and occupancy limits enforced.

Donations may be made in Judith’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
