Rich, I remember going to your house to play growing up and your Mom was always so nice to us. I'm so sorry for your loss. Gerry Murphy

In my youth I spent many hours in the Bamberger home. Sharon (“Mrs. Bamberger”) was like a second mother to me, always taking the time to ask about my life while encouraging my pursuits. Driven by her insatiable curiosity, Mrs. B was forever in the know about the shenanigans within our circle of friends, offering much needed cautionary advice with a twinkle of fun loving approval in her eyes. Caring, compassionate and sharp as a whip, Mrs. B was a rare soul who left you feeling better about yourself while challenging more from you. But of all her gifts and admirable qualities, none were greater than Mrs. B’s deceptive wit and penetrating sense of humor. Nobody told a better story with such exacting command of English, meandering through one whimsical detail after another, finally to arrive at a belly laughing end impossible to have predicted. What entertainment Mrs. B must have been at a dinner party! Sharon had a profound impact on my life. It was a blessing and gift to have had her as a role model helping to shape my youthful path. As for many, my memories of her will live on and she will forever occupy a special place in my heart.
