Castleton-Charlie Stocking, 94, died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday August 27, 2015 at Riverside Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was a World War II Army Air Corp veteran.

He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn (Gonyea) Stocking, his son Fred R. Stocking, stepsons Robert Plumb, Gerard Plumb and Richard Plumb.

Survivors include his wife Mara Stocking; step children, Joan Finlay, Barbara Taft, Michael Plumb and Alan Plumb; grandchildren, Fred Stocking, Scott Stocking and Todd Stocking.

Calling hours will be Sunday August 30, 2015 from 4-6 pm at Ray Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave., Castleton, NY. Family and friends are welcome to join the family after the calling hours at Scarnato’s Ristorante, 133 Scott Ave., Castleton, NY.
