Ms. Rosemary J. Bruce, age 76, of Castleton, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, December 6, 2020, at Albany Medical Center in the presence of her loved ones.
She was born December 21, 1943, in Albany, a daughter of the late Henrietta (Ahl) and Edwin Wacksman.
Rosemary was predeceased by her husband Stewart Bruce, son John Bruce and granddaughter Amber Bruce.
She was born and raised in Albany and had been a resident of Castleton since 1975. She worked for New York State for 25 years. She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and she cherished spending time with her family and friends, her beloved dog Milo, her seniors group, going on trips, taking walks and staying active. She was a fun, kind-hearted woman, who touched the lives of many, leaving wonderful memories behind.
Rosemary is survived by her daughters Lorianne LaMountain and Rosemary Kleinhans (Ronnie Miller); grandchildren, Crystallin, Rheannon, Katelin and Bryant; great grandchildren, Jaeden, Eli and Kendra; her brother, Edward “Sonny” Wacksman (Dana); nieces René, Tiffany and Alison; great nephew, Zach and great neice, Arianne. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Ray Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave., Castleton on Wednesday evening from 4-7PM. The funeral service will be private due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions. Those wishing to make a donation in her memory may do so to the Trinity Lutheran Church 68 Green Ave. Castleton-On-Hudson NY 12033.
