Castleton-Linda J. Newkirk, 75, of Castleton died Saturday October 21, 2017 at the Hospice Inn, St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Albany on July 11, 1942, She was the daughter of the late Dora and Richard Edwards. She is survived by her husband Paul J. Newkirk, her children John (Dee) Newkirk, Teresa (Michael) Cordes, Denise (Robert) Domalewicz, and Nicole Newkirk (Scott Saidlowski); grandchildren Matthew (Kali) Cordes, Alyssa Cordes, Abigail Domalewicz, and Emily Domalewicz. She also leaves behind a sister, Pam (Ricardo) Cosgrave, a niece and several nephews.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday October 24, 2017 at Ray Funeral Home 59 Seaman Ave., Castleton, NY. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit with the family before the service from 12-2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital, 315 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
