May 21, 2018 Rensselaer County Run Tuesday 5/22/18 and Wednesday 5/23/18 with photo Jensen, Anne M. Rensselaer-Mrs. Anne Mary Jensen of Rensselaer passed peacefully at Albany Medical Center on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at the age of 72, after a short illness. Anne is predeceased by her husband, James and her brother, Tommy. Anne is survived by her son Douglas (Debbie) Jensen of Cohoes, brother-in-law Jerry (Phyllis) Jensen of Delmar, brothers Harry (Mary) O’Brien, Patrick (Birdie) O’Brien and Andrew (Sheila) O’Brien, sisters Margie Kavanagh, Pat (Bill) Ferncombe, Theresa (Willie) Dunne, Annette (Jimmy) Kelly and Chrissy (Paddy) Brennan, all from Ireland. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and loved ones. Anne was born on April 6, 1946 in Carlow, Ireland to the late Patrick and Margaret O’Brien. She graduated from Ballinabrannagh National School in 1963. She met James in 1968, fell in love, moved to Castleton, NY and married in 1970. Anne was employed by Questar for over 30 years as a teacher’s aide for the hearing impaired. She enjoyed playing golf, fishing, baking, gardening and traveling. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass 10 am Thursday May 24, 2018 in Sacred Heart Church 3 Catholic Way, Castleton NY. Calling hours will be 5-8pm Wednesday May 23, 2018 at Ray Funeral Service, Inc. 59 Seaman Ave., Castleton. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery.
