Amy, I’m so sorry to hear that your husband has passed away. I will keep you and your children in my prayers. It was many years ago at Green Meadow, but I remember that family was everything to you. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Growing up on Friends Lane in Long Island, I remember the Roe kids as beautiful, blond, happy children. We were a close group of neighbors with
lots of kids, playing outside all year long. I was lucky enough to babysit for the Roes a few times. Years later, living upstate, I find out that Linda’s kids go to Saint Thomas School where my daughter is in 8th grade and she is babysitting for Linda’s kids at school! Such a coincidence! When my mom and Carole reconnected upstate, they became fast friends once again. The Roes are special to my family, and losing Billy and the pain his family is experiencing is so very sad. Our prayers are with you.

Dear family, I worked with Bill at Matthew Bender for many years. The main thing I remember about him is his smile and his calmness. He never seemed to get upset. He was a great person to work with. I am so sorry that he struggled with this illness and that his life ended way too soon. It seems like he had much to be thankful for. He will watch over you from above. Keep the memories of him close to your heart. That will help you make your way through.

I worked with Bill for six years at Treo/3M. He was one of those genuinely great human beings that everyone enjoyed being around. Always happy and friendly. He will be missed by everyone here. Most sincere condolences to the family.

We have known for Bill for years on and off the tennis court. He was one of the finest men with a great sense of humor and unusual humility. He was a great tennis player and we enjoyed playing against him so much. We have missed seeing him since his illness and we are very sad to lose such a fine person. Our thoughts and prayers go to his extended family.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. Bill was a wonderful person to work with and truly a kind soul. In the years we together at Matthew Bender he always had a smile and good word for everyone. His smile was contagious. Prayers for you all during this difficult time.
