October 14, 2018 Rensselaer County Run Monday 10/15/18 & Tuesday 10/16/18 with photo Knickerbocker, William I. Schodack-William (Bill) Knickerbocker, 89, entered into rest after a prolonged illness Friday October 12, 2018 at Riverside Center for Rehab & Nursing. Pop was a lifelong resident of the Schodack area. He was a 40 year employee of Hamilton Printing, retiring in 1993. He was a member of the National Guard for 6 years in the late 1940’s and early 1950’s. Pop was a Yankee fan, a Siena Saint fan, he followed auto racing, and liked bowling, hunting and fishing. Many thanks to the nurses and aides at Riverside for the compassionate care given. He leaves behind his loving wife Joan Knickerbocker; three sons, Roger (Dale) Knickerbocker, Dennis Knickerbocker, Lee (Lindsay) Knickerbocker; grandchildren, Christine, Staci, Michael, Mark; great grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Gabriel, Kristian, and Kaylynn. Calling hours will be 11-1 pm Wednesday October 17, 2018 at Ray Funeral Home 59 Seaman Ave., Castleton, NY followed by a Funeral service in the Funeral Home at 1 pm.
