Cassidy, Susan L.

Schodack-Susan L. Cassidy, 69, died Saturday December 15, 2018 at Albany Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Hudson, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis Miller and Viola (Friar) Miller. She was predeceased by husbands Lambert Cassidy, and Donald Rockefeller.

Susan retired from Columbia County Department of Social Services. She lived her life caring for others and above all, she lived for her family. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses in the medical and surgical intensive care units especially Dr. Rufus Collea for his compassion and support.

Susan is survived by her daughters Sheila Costa (Tom) and Susan Oligny (David); sons Clifford Rockefeller (longtime companion Pat Werner) and Brian Cassidy, Sr. (Nancy); grandchildren Tom Costa, Jr., Michael Costa (Deanna), Brian Cassidy, Jr., Amanda Hayes (Christopher), Nicole Cassidy, and Larry Oligny.

Her funeral service will be 11 am Thursday at Ray Funeral Home 59 Seaman Ave., Castleton, NY. Burial will follow in Horizon View Cemetery.
