Brady, Sean J.
Castleton-Sean Joseph Brady, 22 years old of Castleton, NY, passed on to a better place on November 25th. He was born on May 12th, 1994. A graduate of Maple Hill High, Sean went on to hod jobs in retail and technology and was skilled in the programming and repair of electronics.
Sean was truly one of a kind with a compassionate soul, always willing to help those in need. He had such a passion for the environment and would actively do his part in decreasing his carbon footprint and influenced others to do the same. He lived to be outdoors. His deepest love was for canoeing through lakes and rivers, exploring islands, hiking and camping in the Adirondacks and studying fossils and wildlife. He saved thousands of salamanders over the years, rehabilitated frogs, birds, moles and anything else that needed love. He had a keen sense of adventure- mostly barefoot- no matter the destination, and had a true appreciation and connection to every creature on the planet. Sean’s purpose in life was to make the world a better place.
He is survived by his parents, Matthew and Karen, his sister Marie, his girl friend Karly Stewart, his “Tata” William Hulek, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on January 14th, 2017 from 1-5 p.m. at the Rensselaer Elks Club in East Greenbush, N.Y. It is hoped that stories will be shared with each other during that time as we heal together and remember him.
