Borras, Robert M.

Kinderhook-Robert Borras, 77 died December 10, 2013 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Manuel and Madeline Borras. Bob had brain cancer. He worked for Fort Orange Paper Company and Shell Oil Company for 24 years. He was a US Marine Corp veteran, joining at the age of 16.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 35 years as of December 2nd, Marilyn Zeigler Borras; son Jeffrey (Dee) Borras, Virginia; daughter, Theresa (Ken) Handly, Vermont; step-daughters, Bonnie Hall, Lisa Herbst; step-son, Jody (Vicki) Herbst; many grandchildren & great grandkids; the love of his life, great grandson, 6 year old Christopher Smith, Jr. His favorite pet dog was Lola.

There will be no viewing hours and no memorial service. He is being cremated.
