Castleton- Paul E. Mero, Sr., age 80, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, under the wonderful care of hospice. He was born in Cohoes to the late Edgar and Lillian (Stack) Mero. Paul is survived by his sister and caretaker, Lois M. Best; his children, Cole Godfrey and Paul E. Mero, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Austin and Piper Newton.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Castleton Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave. Castleton, NY 12033. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Paul's family, prior to the funeral service, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
