Judith A. Sano

Judith A. Sano, 76, of Castleton passed away on January 7, 2021 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born in New York City she was the daughter of the late Lester and Marion (Bohowitz) Knapp. Judith was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was most recently employed by Walgreens in Castleton as a sales associate. Judith is survived by her loving husband Michael E. Sano III; children, Michael E. (Gabriella) Sano IV and Melissa (James) Lilly; grandchildren, Vincenza, Isabella, Michael, Alyssa and Emily; Nephews, Richard Pannella (Kelley Roach), John (Christa) George and their children Ava and Austin. She was predeceased by her sister Maridel (John) Pannella. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Ray Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave. Castleton on Tuesday from 4-7PM. Funeral service will be private due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions. Judith will be laid to rest in Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Castleton Volunteer Ambulance, St. Jude Children's Hospital, The American Heart Association or to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
