JOAN LEBRECHT, 86, Entered into the presence of God on July 7, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Surrounded by her loving family she went peacefully to join her husband Bill in Heaven. Joan came to be a believer in Jesus Christ in 1978 at a Women's Retreat. Predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Richard C. Flagg Sr., her two brothers, Richard Flagg, Jr. and David Flagg. She is survived by her daughter, Cindylee Lebrecht Bohley (Timothy); her grandchildren Melissa Warrender (Jeff);Brock Bohley and William Bohley (Carissa); thirteen great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law Douglas Lebrecht; several nieces and nephews and more.
Joan was a social “butterfly” who loved people and enjoyed camping, picnics and get togethers with family and friends. She and Bill were known by many as Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Joan loved to cook, and clean her house as well as many others. She and Bill went on around nine Cruises with their good friends Sally and Rick Randall. Joan and Bill lived many years in Castleton-on-Hudson N.Y. Before moving to Florida for ten years and finally moving in with Cindylee and Tim for about twelve years. Joan helped care for her mother in her mother's battle with Alzheimer's Disease and her Dad with Cancer. Joan especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all. Heaven is the richer, earth the poorer for her passing.
