Castleton-on-Hudson, NY- Jennifer Read Spade (Cipperly), a long-time resident of Castleton, died suddenly Feb 21. She grew up at Spade Farm in Ferrisburgh VT, then earned her degree at Syracuse University. She raised her family in Round Lake, NY as she worked for NY State at Dept of Labor and OGS. Jennie loved travel, books, good food, quilting, chorus and her many friends. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Cipperly of Glenwood Springs CO, her sister Sharon William of Williamstown, MA, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hospice in thanks for care her own parents received. A memorial service will be held 2-4 pm, Saturday Feb 25 at Ray Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave, Castleton.
