Avery, Janice E.

Castleton-Janice E. Avery, 62, lifelong resident of Castleton passed peacefully at home with her family at her side Tuesday July 24, 2018. Know to her friends as “Bait,” she was a beautiful and kind woman, loved and adored by all who knew her. She was the wife of the late Brad Avery; mother of Kelley Jewett (Brock), Katey Delaney (Anthony), Karley Delaney (Todd) and the late Klint Delaney; sister of Judith Brewer (John) and Hal Homer (Pam); grandmother of Rian, Kaden, Jack and Kardell; also survived by 4 nieces and longtime friend Diane Van De Wal. She also leaves her faithful dog Kyzur.
Calling hours will be 10 am-1 pm Saturday July 28, 2018 at Ray Funeral Home, Castleton. Her graveside service will be at 2:30 pm Saturday(same day) at Horizon View Cemetery, Schodack.
