Elaine Kiefer

Elaine Joyce Kiefer passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on March 31, 2025, at her residence in Whitefield, NH, where she resided since 2020. She was born July 15, 1934, in Kalamazoo, MI, the daughter of James and Esther Carson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kiefer, in 1999, and their daughter, Dawn Kiefer, in 1974. They were longtime residents of Castleton.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Brand; her children, Dan (Kathy) Kiefer, Dennis (Patti) Kiefer, Debbie (Gregg) McCombs; her former son-in-law, Tim Walker; her grandchildren, Adam, Alyssa Devine, Brendan, Eric, Tyler, Aaron, and Spencer Kiefer, and Shayne, Troy, and Levi Walker; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Elaine's family from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Castleton Funeral Home, 59 Seaman Ave. Castleton, NY 12033. Interment will be private in Horizon View Cemetery, Castleton, NY.
