Newton, Deanne N.

Castleton-Deanne N. Newton, 76, passed peacefully at her daughter’s residence Friday December 5, 2014.

Deanne was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Catherine (Laska) and John Drost, Jr. She worked for many years at Fleet Bank, Castleton and attained the position of bank manager. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She was the wife of the late Edwin B. Newton and is survived by her children Lynn (Michael) Donnelly and Brian (Barbara) Newton, grandchildren Jeremy (Marlene), Max, and Jason, her sister Carol (Jack) Prevost and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Emmanuel Reformed Church, 1150 Maple Hill Rd., Castleton, NY from 11-1 pm Tuesday December 9, 2014. Her funeral service will follow at 1 pm in the Church. Interment, Horizon View Cemetery.
